computer start in safe mode

my computer wont start in the regular mode so i started it in safe mode but
it will only go to the black screen that says safe mode in all four corners
and it s black it wont go to the safe mode

Does it ever give you the message about "System Restore or Safe Mode"? If
so - use system restore.

Also - be patient - safe mode can be very very slow to get into.
