Help with user account please

I recently messed up a user account, and I haven't been able to get any help
yet. I saw a post that had the command "control userpassword2" in it.
Out of curiosity I ran it and looked around. My wife and daughter are on the
system as limited users, and one of the options that came up (under
advanced) was for a "standard" (power) user, as opposed to a limited user or
administrator. When I tried to make my wife a member of this group I got an
error saying (IIRC) that the group didn't exist so I couldn't do it. The
next time I rebooted the pc there was no logon option for her account. Her
documents folder is still there (but locked). Even using the same command I
can't see her account. Safe mode only shows myself and admin. Can anyone
help with this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Bill

You need to run the Microsoft Management Console. Right Click
My Computer, then left click Manage. The Microsoft Management
Console will open (Small - may need to maximize). It is a split-pane
just like Explorer. Find Local Users and Groups in the left pane and
Click the + to expand the tree. It is from here that you can check
on both Users and Groups and determine why the accounts are not
usable.
