How did you verify that you are creating this Contact in the same folder
the address book view is displaying? Most likely you are not.
Use Folder List view to examine your entire hierarchy. You have probably
ended up with more than one Contact Folder. If you are absolutely certain
you have only one Contact Folder, then just reset the address book view:
remove the Outlook Address Book completely from your Profile, close
Outlook, and then re-add it. Restart again.

I just tried deleting and recreating this entry in the folder I have
chosen to display in my Outlook Address Book and it still does not appear
even though it was created in and appears in the correct folder when I
open it. I add new contacts to this folder on a regular basis and this
problem never occurs.
Is there anything else I can double check?

Then you did not create this Contact in the folder you are displaying in
the Outlook Address Book.

Not possible. Post the precise steps by which you created this Contact
and where it does not appear that you think it should.

Russ I am really stumped here, the Contact meets both criteria as you
stated here.

Make sure the Contact you created has a valid email address that is
underlined.
Make sure that the Contacts Folder in which you created it is
enabled as an email address book in its properties.

Thanks Russ for the quick reply. Can you help me with how to
determine resolved electronic address and a folder enabled for
display?
E-mail can be sent to the address. The folder pops up when the
"To:" button is clicked. What else do I need to investigate?
Contacts will appear in the Outlook Address Book when they have a
valid, resolved electronic address and exist in a folder that you
have enabled for display. Accordingly, one of those conditions is
not true. Only you can determine which condition has not been met.
We can't.

I entered and saved a new entry into Contacts but when I try to
find the entry by clicking the "To" the contact is not there. If
I open the Contacts Folder I can view the new entry and open it.
This is the first time I have had this problem and need some
help.
