I am networked with my main desktop computer. I use a new Gateway Laptop and
my desktop is or uses Win98SE
I purchased in February this year a Gateway Laptop which had Windows I/E
for some reason My Windows I/E has changed
to MSN I/E. To my knowledge I did nothing to change it, and I don't like MSN
I/E
How can I get my Windows I/E back

The other question is about the same time of the above change, (around
Auguust 15th) I get a Pop up everytime I order a print job from my Laptop to
my desktop Canon Printer saying I "might" be low on ink do I want to buy it
from Gateway? How do I get rid of that. It never appears on my desktop, of
course I don't have gateway on the desktop and I'm not low on ink. I an't
find that in my startups

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me, I have checked all the
places I can think of

To make your computer automatically use Internet Explorer instead of
MSN Explorer:

1. Click Control Panel.
2. Click Add or Remove Programs.
3. Click Set Program Access and Defaults
4. Click Custom.
5. Under "Choose a default Web browser", select "Internet Explorer".

Hi Steve thanks for the information and I followed it to the letter but it
didn't work
Let me add one more thing When I got this Laptop it had I/E about 2 weeks or
so ago it changed to MSN explorer. It's possible I was Hijacked even with
Norton, House Calls, Adaware guarding my computer. There is somethng that has
to have been added to my system without my knowledge that is stopping me from
changing it back to I/E
Anymore ideas. There must be something that can be done "isn't there"?????
It also has affected the fact that Windows messaging can't be stopped. I
tried ever which way except going to the Regedit ( as I'm not experienced
enough and too old and scared to attempt it
Thanks again ( in advanace)
