help w/mailbox size limit

I've archived my mailbox again today. And I still can't receive or send
messages. It says - you have exceeded the size limit of your mailbox. How
do I fix this so I can receive and send emails?

I have Outlook 2003. When I go and look at my folder sizes my SENT folder
is huge ((45820 KB)) but what can I do to make it small?

Thanks
Jeannette

Create a new PST and move the contents of the Sent Items to that PST,
removing them from your mailbox. You can do this with any folder you have
that contains older items you don't need to access all the time. You could
also use AutoArchiving to keep your mailbox cleaner.

Archive it.

I autoarchive it once every 2 weeks. I even manually archived it this
morning and it didn't help.

What is PST? And when I go into the sent folder there is nothing there. And
I do save all my sent messages in the proper folder.

Personal Folders File. FIle>New>Outlook Data File is how to create one.

You just said your Sent Items folder is "huge". Are you saying it's "huge"
but contains nothing? Perhaps your view is sent incorrectly so you can't
see what it contains. What view are you using in the Sent Items folder?
