I just installed XP on a new hard drive and keep getting the
following stop code 0X0000007B, (0XFC8D3640, 0XC0000034, 0X00000000,
0X00000000). Any help on this to get past this error code would be
much appreaciated.

Thanks.

Pulling cards won't help in this instance:

Chkdisk isn't enough, use the hard drive's diagnostic tools, it should have
come with a disk, if not, check the manufacturer's website for their
diagnostic tools and run them on the drive.

If it appears ok, the problem most likely is the drive is not properly
connected or jumpered assuming XP was on the previous drive and you had no
issues such as this.

Note: if XP was supplied with your PC, it's possible that's the problem as
your version was likely tied to the original hardware and sometimes cannot
be changed. If XP was supplied with your system, you might need to contact
the system builder for help resolving this issue.
