Help! Standby forcing a domain logout, user is left without a valid login to domain?

Is this a feature of Windows 2000?

Having a laptop which after being on standby for a period of time
(let's say overnight), when it comes back alive, it finds itself
logged out of the domain and forced to reboot/reconnect (haven't tried
logout/login yet) in order to get access to printers (in specific)
again.

Network is Windows 2000 SBS SP4,
Computer is running Windows 2000 SP4

Advice Needed,

That is not surprising as after a while the service and user kerberos tickets used
for authentication expire and if the computer is not available they can not be
renewed. A logoff/logon would be worth a try. --- Steve
