Help removing Spyware Stormer

Hi group,

My wife's computer at work is constantly being bombarded with Spyware
Stormer pop-ups. I had her download, install, update and run Ad Aware and
also told her to check her Add/Remove programs (it wasn't there). Neither
have seemed to help. Does anyone know how we remove this program?

Thanks!
Aaron

Thanks guys,

I'll have her try Spybot and HiJackThis!. I think either of those will take
care of it.

On a seperate note, after she ran Ad Aware, her internet connection dropped
and she can't seem to connect. While everyone else in the office is fine.

Do you think this Spyware Stormer is doing something with her internet
connections? Or is that a seperate issue?

HijackThis, by itself, does nothing but generate a report. Post your
HijackThis log to an appropriate forum, not here.

Connection Problem:

If WinXP SP2, see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/892350

If WinXP (SP1), see http://www.spychecker.com/program/winsockxpfix.html

If an earlier OS, see http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm

Wouldn't be surprised if Spyware Stormer (or hijackware that "drive by"
installed along with it) is the cause of her problems:
