Help red flashing thingy

ok i have this insanely annoying virus alert thing on my taskbar i have no clue what to do i ran my A/V program over and over and its not finding anything.....
i click on this window that pops up above the clock and it says "computer is infected! critical error!" and a few other things...... the window has a red boarder and grey back ground....
so when i click it takes me to this crappy spyquake thing and at one point i think it Dl'd it and my norton went nuts...
i need some major help plz!!!!

Run all the fixes HERE exactly as instructed - then run CCleaner to remove any rubbish left behind (untick the Yahoo Toolbar install option).

Download, install and run Windows Defender, Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D and SpywareBlaster in Safe Mode available HERE .

Then do yourself a favour - NEVER download anything advertising via a pop-up

Oh, and bin Norton and install either Kaspersky (pay) or AntiVir (free)

oh and ive never heard of those two anti virus programs b4.... ill have to check them out
