HELP !Record a Webcast?

Is there any way to record a live webcast? I have a Sony
Viao and can hook a vcr up to hit, also have a DVD burner
in the laptop?

wmp9 series encoder will capture audio/video
Download from wmp9 home page,probably need the codec
installation,theres other microsoft "unsupported"
downloads for the encoder,they run fine.
