Website webcast question

I wan to do a live webcast on my website. I watched one the other night from
a local sports store, I mean local not Sports Authority type. So I know that
they are not spending a lot of money if any at all.

I have searched the Internet but find articles from 3 or 4 years ago that
just aren't helpful for today. The other site I watched had Media Player on
their site and live webcast a small 1 hour show and they claim viewers from
all over the country.

Anyway how can I setup a live webcast for my website without spending much
money? I have cameras and several new fast computers plus broadband
connection so can someone point me in the right direction.
