i know this may have nothing to do with the windows xp newsgroup but can
someone please point me to a few
websites were you can talk to someone if there child is being abused and
there parents arent looking after them properly
like for example taking drugs n stuff like that does anyone know of anygood
sites so i can talk to someone about it.
this is the only place i can find some help so please help me please don't

If you are in the UK, the NSPCC, the police and social services. These
bodies exist to deal with such matters.

If you are making an allegation of child abuse (which is a very serious
offence in the UK) then the police are the people who will investigate that
allegation. Then if the allegation is substantiated will take the
appropriate action such as arresting and subsequently prosecuting the person
or persons concerned.
You will of course be required to provide your evidence to the police when
you make the allegation and may then be also required to make an appearance
in court (should it go that far) as a witness for the prosecution.

If England is like Australia (and the coppers at Sun Hill would suggest it is) then one would report it too the UK equiv of the Dept Of Community Services. This is best as the law is not always the appropiate response (and DOCS will call the police if it is). One does not need to give one's name as DOCS are only concerned with the child's welfare.

EG Parenting classes may be arranged or D&A counselling.

Allegations of child abuse are sometimes class based (though not in the sexual area) especially in neglect or punishment areas. I've reported a case to DOCS after seeing a child's art competition with a recurring theme in the paintings of one child.

Feminist's just say patriachy made them like that, which has a bit of truth to it.

they don't actually hit us but they do take drugs and swear at us and don't
look after us like responsible parents so do you think that.there is still a
problem with what there doing.
