HELP PLEASE

i have just installed SP2 on a p3 500 pc with 512 ram and reasonable
graphics card.

But as soon as i rebooted PC to complete installation it wont restart

i get STOP C0000135 message stating that winsrv is unable to be
located????


any suggestions apart from switch to Linux or Apple

That error means the 'winsrv.dat' or 'winsrv.dll' file is missing or
corrupt in the Windows\System32 folder, or more likely that
the registry is corrupt.
