Hi all,

I have WinXP pro SP2 on a P3 1GHz/512MB dell PC, with soundblaster audigy
and SM56 speakerphone modem as PCI cards. Whenever I use internet it
shutsdown sudeenly and reboots with no errors. I switched off the automatic
reboot option and found the following error:

STOP: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

0xD1 (0x92E43394, 0x10, 0x01, 0xF7D2574E)

smserial.sys - address f7d2574ebase at f7cb7000, date stamp 408d00bf

I would be thankful if anyone would help me to solve it.

Thanx N regs...

Your problematic driver is one for your Motorola SM56 Modem. See if the

Hi Gerry,

Thanx for ur help, I updated the driver but problem still persists. I tried
some tricks but no use. When I disabled my Creative Audigy sound card, its
working fine.

If anybody help me to solve this pbm, so that I can use both sound and modem
cards, it'd be gr8.

Thanx regds,
Raveena
