Hi people...

I have a little BIG problem. When I go to the Network
Connections Folder, I don't see anything, and I've 3
internet connections. When I make "Refresh", appears the
following error: "The Network Connections Folder was
unable to retrieve the list of Network adapters on your
machine. Please make sure that the Network Connections
service is enable and running". I did that and I
confirmed that the service is running and starts
automatically. I even restarted the service and nothing.

I need to change the properties of one of my connections
and I can't - I need to disable the Firewall provided
with Windows XP. If you don't know how to solve the
problem, please tell me how to disable the firewall.

Bye,
Miguel Guerreiro (Portugal)

First make sure that your Network Connections Service and Remote Access
Connection Manager services are running. If they are then compare the LAN
connections in the connections folder with the Network Adapter drivers in
device manager. If there is a Network Adapter driver that doesn't have a
corresponding connection in the connections folder then try reinstalling it.
