"Network Connections Folder"

My Network Connections Folders has recently lost all
content. When I attempt to refresh the folder I recieve
the following Error:

"The Network Connections Folder was unable to retrieve
the list of Network Adapters on your Machine. Please make
sure that the Network Connections Service is running on
your machine"

I have confirmed that the service is started, and even re-
installed the NIC's in the machine and still the same
result.

Does anyone have any ideas on this?
