Tina

I'm having some hard disk problems but the systems is still running.
Outlook won't open (running xp and the latest Outlook). I wanted to get my
pst saved off so I scanned all of the disks for *.PST and it just found old
ones.

Could it be renamed? How could it be deleted? Nothing else seems to be
missing. McAffee says I don't have a virus.

When I try to fix outlook I get "Windows Delay Write Failed" messages so it
won't repair itsself.

Can anyone help?
thanks,
G

You have to search to include hidden.
Typically pst located in Documents & Settings grouping

Usually the .pst files are stored in this path. C:\Documents and
Settings\<UserName>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.

To check where your PST files are stored go to Tools-->Options

In this click on the Mail Setup Tab. In this you should see a button
"Data Files". Click on that. This will open a window called "Outlook
Data Files" check to see the path where Outlook has been storing your
messages in the .pst file and see if it is there.
Hope this helps.
