You may check if you have all latest drivers for your compuers and check
computer configuration asked by game. You question is too general. What os do
you have, memory, video card? What games are crashing?

Describe "crashing". If it's turning itself off, it might be overheating.

Cheers.

What do you mean by crashing? Just turning off unexpectedly or the program
terminating or what? Any error messages? Give specifics, not conclusionary
descriptions. There is no way of knowing at this point if it could be
software or hardware. If hardware it could be overheating, bad memory, bad
drive, bad motherboard.

If you mean it is turning itself off this can be caused by overheating
- check underneath where the fan vents are located and clean out all
the dust out that is clogging it up - worked a treat for me. I also
prop up the back of the laptop with little chocks so that there is
more airflow underneath it.

it's almost certainly a heating problem. the gaming pushes the components,
causing excessive heat build-up by the cpu and graphics chip, which triggers
the cooling fans to run at high speeds, which in turn increases the air and
dust intake, which in turn clogs up the exhaust. it's a vicious cycle.

you can try to clear the exhaust vents by using compressed air. sometimes
that helps. other times it pushes the debris back up in the computer, only
to reaccumulate again soon. a good idea is to have a qualified technician
to do a good maintenance on it. just keep in mind that every shade tree
"computer guy" is NOT a qualified tech, so be selective.
