This is regarding MSN Messenger 6.2.
Okay, am having problems understanding this webpage:

0. Configure your network for file transfer.
1. Open as many TCP ports as you can between 6891 and 6900.
2. Configure the TCP ports so that sockets on a port remain open for an
extended period of time.

How can I open TCP ports from 6891 to 6900 automatically all at once?

Kevin,

The instructions are telling you how to configure your firewall / NAT router to
handle file transfer under MSN Messenger.

If you have a NAT router that supports UPnP, or if your firewall is program
sensitive (like Zone Alarm), you can have the ports opened automatically. If
not, you need to open all the ports in that range manually and permanently. The
instructions for your firewall or router will tell you the capabilities and
procedures.

Kevin, posting your email address openly will get you more unwanted email, than
wanted email. Learn to munge your email address properly, to keep yourself a
bit safer when posting to open forums. Protect yourself and the rest of the
internet - read this article.
