Hi im new to post here and i had no where else to hope for
some help, if im posting in the wrong section plz forgive
me.

However. I have Windows XP Dell system, regular mouse,
and I have exprianced some major problems. During my time
online I have the mouse going from the bottom left corner
to the top right corner, acting eratic, opening all sorts
of desktop icons, doubling tripling the icons by copying
them, theres a tremedous strain on the CPU and it lasts
for about 15 seconds then the mouse dies. In order to fix
it I have to reboot. Nortan scans and Trend micro scans
have come up with nothing. I do not know what is the
problem. I have reinstalled the mouse driver and checked
for updates, and everything is up to date. If anyone has
an idea or suggestion to what to try I would greatly
appreicate it.

Thank you

Have you tried a different mouse. A basic mouse can be bought for $10

Yes I have, and it did the same thing. I just had to
reboot for the 5th time today. This is really becoming a
nightmere.
