i have been trying to reinstall windows xp home, but it
stops when it gets to about the 34 minute mark and gives
the 0xc2 error - a driver is causing problems with the
setup. i am unable to startup in safe mode and i have
been unable to change any of the drivers because i'm stuck
in the windows setup, what do i do?

You can also hit SHIFT - F10 during the install to get to a command prompt.
You could then run regedit and disable drivers.
