Help me!!!

Hello all I cannot save "any" kind of files to my computer. I am the
administrator so it is not that.

I have tryed everything that I can think of but...........nothing.

Please does anybody have any idea what's going on here

Hi Greggers, Are you referring to a particular application, perhaps a third-party software? Which location are you trying to save files to, and what's the *exact* error message you see on the display?

Hey thank you for getting back to me. I dont get an error message, any
files, well not any but like . exe files or downloaded files (like a winrar
..exe) or when I tried to use the xtracter in vista I can see the diolog box
apear and the download or the save is progressing then the diolog box
disapears and the file is gone. If I save it to the desk top I can see the
Icon apear but then it just vanishes, I ran a search for the file but did not
come up with anything. I am really stumped here.

Unusual behavior of this kind is usually caused by Viruses and/or other Malware. First, ensure that your system is clean. If this problem was seen recently, see if a System Restore rollback fixes the problem. If nothing helps, you may use the freeware "Process Monitor" utility to see what's going on in the system.
