help me with this iexplorer problem please

While using windows xp home I have recived a error
message iexplore
this is the following error.

"MICROSOFT VISUAL C++ RUNTIME LIBRARY"
PROGRAM: C:\PROGRAMFILE\INTERNET EXPLORER\IEXPLORER.EXE

ABNORMAL PROGRAM TERMINATION.

----------------------------------------------------------

sometimes when i try to surf any site the iexplorer
window tells me that it is downloading the site but
nothing happens to the page on screen, when it has
finished downloading the site the screen will still show
the old page and the explorer will hang i can use windows
ok and can use other iexplorer pages when opened ok
aswell but not the hanging page.

please try to help me out thanx.

From where you getting that?

That sounds like Visual C++ is debugging IE
