Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem before or maybe just
recently. I thought at first I just had a sloooow internet connection (i'm
on dial up) that's why IE seemed to labor just to load pages even Google
(???)...it just took too much time than it normally does to display a page.
Also, for some odd reason, it doesn't seem to open a page unless I type
"http" on the url...instead it tries to "find" it...weird!?

Anyways, fyi, i'm running Win98 and I have ZoneAlarm firewall (the free
one)...I've checked it and even shut it off...but nothing seems to work. Any
suggestions? Is there a way to find out if this is an IE problem and perhaps
"reset" it?

Thanks!

Thanks Jan! I think I manage to scare it off :) by threatening to implement
the proposed solutions..it seemed to magically work now normally.

Well done, Oh Wizard of Odds! Glad you got it working. Next time it wants
to kick up on you, just drag out the list again. ;-))

Jan :)
