Help, I have inherited an mdw database and need to make changes

I have inherited an mdw database and need to make changes. This tells me I do
not have the appropriate permissions. Whenever I try to change the table,
this will not save.

I know where the BE file is.

Is there any way of converting this back to .mdb?

An mdw database is an Access security database; it does not contain data but
security info. That file, in particular, is proprietary to Microsoft.

If you have "inherited" a database or an "Access Working Scheme", then you
need to "inherit" all the other stuff needed in order to work on it, too. This
means not only Users/Passwords, but all the other hints, tips, and
descriptions of the database's methodology and schema, which the "originator"
may have used.

It's not a sensible question, given the newsgroup name. If the "inherit" died,
your best bet is to employ a professional development company near you. Fishy,
indeed.
