need the profile folder sharing up but once ive took ownership as an admin i
get this as i log in :-

Windows did not load your roaming profile and is attempting to log you on
with your local profile. Changes to the profile will not be copied to the
server when you logoff. Windows did not load your profile because a server
copy of the profile folder already exists that does not have the correct
security. Either the current user or the Administrator's group must be the
owner of the folder. Contact your network administrator.

help!

Hi Luna-

By default, the USERENV process (the process that takes care of user
environment creation) checks to see if the account which is logging on has
ownership of the profile directory. If it does not, you can receive that
error.

There is a group policy setting (Machine based) in Server 2003 domains which
can have your clients ignore that.

The other alternative would be to set ownership of that profile to the user
who uses it. This can be done in the GUI in Server 2003, or using
SUBINACL.EXE (from the Resource Kit) for previous Windows versions.
