I was doing routine defrag & system cleaning. Have new cleaner called
"CCleaner", scanned for issues & deleted a file related to the
pre-loaded HP prgrm Easy Internet Sign-up. Since then, my computer is
connecting to the internet all by itself (i have dial-up), I can't shut
it off & that file is not backed up...Does anyone know how I can get
that program to re-install to see if it corrects my screwup???? PLEASE<
PLEASE any help is most appreciated

Did you opt to save the registry entries before deleting? If so locate the same and double
click on them.
If not, perhaps a "system restore" might be in order if only the registry entries were
deleted.
