Help: Custom view will not stick

B

Beemer

In Excel 2003 I want to save two custom views of the same 5 column 500row
data sorted by two different column heading fields. I can make each sort
sort ( and see it change) and then name two new custom views but when I then
change the selected custom view the sort (view?) has not changed.

Apart from getting help to fix this is there a way to see the custom view
name on the current view?

The sort settings aren't saved in a custom view. You could record a
macro to sort by each field, and run that macro as required.

To see the name, you could add the Custom Views list to one of your
toolbars --
Choose Tools>Customize, and on the Commands tab, select the View
category. Drag the Custom Views list to an existing toolbar.
