Help - creating forms

Hi. If you've seen my other posts you know a bit about what I'm doing. I am
working on a membership database for our post.

I tried playing with creating forms yesterday. I used the Form Wizard and
tried all choices. The one I liked best was columnar. (It's the same thing
I get if I just click on the Form button.) But it's not exactly what I want.

The guy who looked at our setup a few weeks back, took a copy to play with.
I got it yesterday. He did up a form which is a little closer to what I want
but I can't figure out exactly how he did it. He had city, state & zip going
from left to right on one line. Address was above it with the phone number
field. etc.

Using the form I created, I tried to edit the layout. I can move things
around but I can't change the layout much.

I had downloaded and am playing with the Contacts database for my own
personal stuff. I kind of like the way it pops up and reminds me a bit of
the Outlook Contacts. In the file that guy was working on he had the name
boxes all on one line (last, first, middle, suffix).

I figured out how to add buttons for next, previous, first, last, add new,
etc. The ones I tried only had the picture on them. I'd like to either just
have them be text or have both the picture with text.

Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Without some manipuation, you can't have text and a picture on a command
button. One way is to create you own images that have a picture and text.
Another is to create a lable and position it near the command button.

Hi Klatuu,

Definately don't want to even attempt to create my own images. I know how
to do the command buttons but haven't tried to do anything with labels yet.
