help computer wont start

I have a HP desktop bought in 2001. 1.2 ghz, 128 mb
ram 60 gig hd. I upgraded from Win ME to XP the other
day. I installed I tunes for Ipod mini and everything
was ok for first 3 days. Then yesterday turned on
computer, the first windows xp screen came up with
the little bar on bottom, and then nothing, screen goes
black. Nothing on the screen, and keyboard doesn't
seem to be active. No lights or anything. Any ideas?

it is possible that your original sys won't support that big of an upgrade
check the manufacturs specifications on your computer, and the xp
specifications via internet and see if it can accually be upgraded.
if it can, some of the programs installed in your sys might not be able to
handle it.
or try 1st dump your whole computer then install your xp then install
whatever software you have
