HELP! CAN'T START PROGRAM

When I start up my Outlook 2003, an error message comes up and says, "your microsoft exchange server is unavailable" so I try to retry but it doesn't work so I click on work offline. Then it says, "unable to open your default e-mail folders. your profile is not configured." Then I have to click ok and the program exits. I have already tried reinstalling it, but it doesn't work.
