Help !!!! ASAP!!!

I am unable to locate the modem for windows 2000 .
Error message as soon as I start windows 2000
says, "unable to locate load=load= file pathway in the
libraries"!!! Can some one help me out!!!
 
not sure that I follow. Do you physically have a modem? If so, were the
correct drivers used?
