Help! All My Pictures in "My Pictures" Won't Load

Something has gone wrong. Went to "My Pictures" and tried to double left
click (to bring up the pic to a bigger size) and I get an error message that
says:

"windows cannot find 'C\Documents and settings" blah blah blah.
make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."

What happened? Why can't I access all my pictures? I CAN access them when I
go thru my Microsoft Frontpage 2000, loading any one of them to my template.
But when I just click on them in the "My Pictures" folder - nothing.
