Help:About SDAuthUtilDevice.exe

I use VS2003.NET to develop CF Application.
When I used the SDAuthUtilDevice.exe, I
can't connect it to my pc. My PC connected the device with Ethernet. the
tools said it'can't find the IP Address of the device.
I've start the componet in the device but it can't find the IP Address by
DHCP. Can I set a IP address directly, and use it to connect with my pc. I
tried to set my pc IP
192.168.0.1 and subnet mask 255.255.255.0
and Gateway 192.168.0.1. and set My device IP 192.168.0.2 and subnet mask
255.255.255.0
and Gateway 192.168.0.2. But it failed.

ps: I have read the article in the msdn.
but found nothing help me to solve that prolem. Is there any thing i need to
set my pc's IP address or other thing.

It sounds like your device doesn't have a network adapter. Does it? What
type? When you run sdauthutildevice.exe, it should show what IP address(es)
it will be listening on. Dio you enter one of those from the authentication
utility on the desktop machine?

"It failed" is *totally useless* to us in helping you. Tell us what
happened! And "read the article" on MSDN? Do you know how many articles
there are on MSDN?! WHICH ONE?!?!

We are not able to read your mind or use your devices, so you have to
actually tell us *SOMETHING* to get any help!
