ActiveSync Passthrough

Hi! I want to connect with SQL Server from my WinCE 4.2 NET device via
ActiveSync passthrough. As far as I understand when my device is connected
to desktop computer via ActiveSync with standard partnership (not guest) on
device creating network interface ppp1. I see it when I execute ipconfig in
PocketCMD on device. But I can't ping from my device another computer in my
network.
By executing ipconfig /all i get something like this:

PPP adapter connection:
IP Address...................................: 192.168.55.101
Subnet Mask................................: 255.255.255.0
Default gateway ...........................: 192.168.55.100
Adapter name ..............................: ppp1
and so on

And my network is 10.0.102.0 with subnet mask 255.255.0.0.

How can I use this network connection?

PS. On WM 2003 everything working fine.

ActiveSync passthrough works pretty much in the same way as NAT. It is
transparent for the applications and is limited to TCP packets only (it does
some other things like DNS proxy etc). Check if you can open a web site in
the PocketIE - something located on your local network, by IP address

Many thanks for your answer! I've already solve this problem!
1. I tried ping host in my network from WinCE device, but it seems there is
no ICMP support on device.
2. I tried to ping by name, but not by IP address, it was my fault, I see
there is no DNS support.

My app works fine if I use IP addresses!
