For a project i made a ppt presentation. the presentation
is having problems running, due to its large size. it has
gaps in the audio, and plays in a uncordinated manner. i
have done everything i can to trim down it's size, and i
have done similar ppt's, which have run without problems.
IS there any software i could use to increase the
speed/multimedia capability of my computer so my
presentation runs better. any advice is welcome...

There is no software which will increase the speed of your computer or
increase the multimedia capability other than having the latest drivers for
your sound card and video card. Some systems just won't properly show .ppt
files due to speed of the processor or hard drive. I am successfully
showing video/sound with a Dell Celeron 800 mHz system with a 6 GB HDD. You
may want to increase your Memory capacity. Don't know what you have in your
system now but 512 MB with XP and PowerPoint is sufficient if nothing else
is running. Defrag your hard drive after creating your presentation. Don't
attempt to run from a CD or from an external hard drive or accross the
network. Make sure your clips are located in the same directory/folder as
the .ppt file.
