headphones

i know that this may be a goofy question but i am wondering
if all computers are capable of headphone attachment. i
have a compaq presario 6000 and do not know how to hook up
headphones or even if it is available. if anyone could
help i would appreciate it greatly.

A computer doesn't necessarily have to have a sound card installed, and a
sound card doesn't necessarily have all of the options on it. So there are
probably computers that don't support headphones.
