headers jumping around

How do you get your items to move accordingly and not get
lost in the page; ie. if the viewer has different screen
res; or their left side folders are open; etc.

Some tables flow nicely and others move off the page to
the right. Some move to the left some jump to the centre.
Get what I mean.
