my hdd is being churned all the time crt/alt/del does not show any running
programs_____I have deleted programs that maybe have been accessing the
drv___is there a way to locate a program that is accessing my HDD ?

Will, do you have any Indexing running in the background? Such as
Google Desktop, Copernic Desktop.

No ____there are 45 Processes running___with 6 instances of SVCHOST.EXE
running I have Google toolbar and E-Bay toolbar, but these have been
installed for ages___I have been trying out ashampoo magic defrag and
thought that this was the culprit__but have since uninstalled complete_____
