having trouble

i'm having trouble getting windows update.i've clicked on
windows update but it won't update. i don't know what to
do.
i had a few people try to help but it was no use.
i'm afraid my computer is going to be messed up with no
update
can someone help?

What exactly did you do? Can you get to the Windows Update Site itself?
