Having problems installing USB 2 on motherboard.

If someone can help me with this, I certainly would appreciate it. Here
goes....

I have purchased an ASUS A7N8X-X motherboard and when trying to install USB
2 from the installation disk, all I got was a 4-page readout on how to
install it. I thought the idea of the installation disk was to make it easy
to just, plain install without going through all the explicit detailed
instructions where I have to get into the system to do it. I am not overly
confident about using the Command Console and I do not want to make a mistake
trying to get my machine running on USB 2. When looking into my device
manager, it shows the following:

Universal Serial Bus controllers
Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Controller (which is supposed to be USB 2)
Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller (which is a USB 1)
Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller (which is a USB 1)
USB Root Hub
USB Root Hub
USB Root Hub

Are there too many of the same drivers listed. No conflicts are indicated.
Is there any other way to install USB 2 using a third party program? Does
Microsoft have this program? Due to all this, my computer is not optimized
for USB 2 and this slows down my transfers of data between all of my drives.
Thank you for your responce. Thank you very much.

Thanks for your help.
I guess the ENHANCED USB tells me all. I really wasn't sure about that.
Thanks again.

I believe the a8n8x-x supports 6 usb devices of which, 2 are usb 2.0.
So according to your post everything is ok.
