Having both English and Japanese

My sister in law has a laptop and uses english. Her husband is japanese and
needs to have japanese. Is there any way using XP Pro that both can have
access in english and japanese with the addition of a USB japanese keyboard.

NO. You need a Japonese version of XP.

Hi,

Actually, you don`t. My XP systems are all English, my wife is Japanese and
she has no problems using Japanese or a Japanese keyboard on my computer.
Just install the Japanese IME and also select the Japanese keyboard in the
regional settings. Also, a majority of Japanese programs will work on the
English OS, just the install windows are usually displayed messed up fonts.
I haven`t had any problems using Japanese on my English Window systems since
I moved to Japan back in 1995.
