Haunted dialup connector

My dialup connection settings (internet options,
connections tab) are always set to "dial whenever a
network connection is not present". I try setting it
to "never dial a connection" but it changes itself back
every time! What's going on?

I'm trying to prevent the dialup dialog from constantly
popping up when I'm using a wireless connection (XP)

1st of all i'd download and run these
