Hate Vista Style Folders

I have Vista on two of my computers and for the most part like the new OS.
The only thing I do not like are the style of folders in Vista. I liked the
folders in XP because you could see what was in the folder by the small icons
on the front of the folders. I have thousands of embroidery designs on my
computers and find the new Vista versions not pratical. Is there any way to
change back to that style of folder in Vista?

You can choose any image file that's in the folder to display on the folder.
You can also change the icon to one of the system icons or you can use your
embroidery designs to create your own icons.

But that is just it..... I have to "select" an image file to display. The
way that the XP folders worked is that the first four items in the folder
showed on the outside. This was very helpful in finding which folder held a
particular design. It would be very nice to have the ability to go back and
use the old style as one of the possibilities in Options.
