Has Anyone Had This Problem?

I have this problem with my laptop computer, and don't know if I'm the
ony one or not(this has only happened in the last month or two). But
sometimes a round looking clock will appear in the status bar in the
lower left of my screen. Well when this does appear my computer gets
VERY SLOW, I have searched the internet about this and found nothing,
so I thought I would ask this forum if they knew why this happens, and
what I could do to remedy the situation.

When the clock appears the next time, start Task Manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del or
right-click on an empty area of the Taskbar). See what is listed on the
Applications and the Processes tabs.

And also check the Processes tab to sort by the CPU Usage column to see
what is consuming the CPU's time.
