I have win xp sp-2. when I try to use add hardware , it tells me that I can only install 1 device @ a time. I'm not installing any hardware @ this time. Can anyone help please?
 
You seem to have had other problems with your pc recently? You may need to sort one problem at a time out, as the current problem could be made worse by doing work on your pc. Have you recently added any hardware to your pc??

Why are you using "add hardware" if you are not adding hardware.

Yes but you have a compaq:eek: you will need to uninstall the other graphics card, then re-boot and then install the new card and add the drivers for the new card.
 
uninstall the old graphics drivers, plug in the new graphics card, install its drivers.

No hardware wizzard needed!
