I just had to reinstall win2k. Everything else was working just fine but windows would not start. The install went fine. I went in to check my Y drive where I have things stored and backed up and when I clicked on that drive I got the message 'The drive is corrupt or unformatted. Do you want to format now?' I said no because I don't want to loose everything on that drive. I also get this error message 'Y:\ is inaccessible. The parameter is incorrect.'

When I reinstalled win2k one thing weird happened. I knew the computers drives would be relettered. The C drive stayed the same and the partition on the C drive remained the same. But the Y drive was relettered and renamed which I thought was odd and it is now inaccessible.

I want to know if I can get my stuff off this drive and save it?

Thanks for your help.
Debbie
