Harddisk enclosure undetectable

I have a combo USB/Firewire H/Disk enclosure. Using the USB interface, the
My Computer is able to detect the Mass Storage. However, when I use
Firewire, no Mass Storage detected.

The Device Manager show the NEC OHCI IEEE 1934 Controller working. What is
wrong?

1. Check the firewire controller for updated drivers.
2. Check the firewire cable with a known good device.
3. Substitute the enclosure with a known good firewire device.

It use to work! I only have 1 firewire device!

Remove the drivers.
Reboot PC.
If it doesn't detect new hardware then you got other problems, otherwise
install it again.
