Hard drive space

I loaded XP Pro, and the NIC driver and onto a 3G hard
drive. It reads it as 1.32G. Is it reading wrong or is XP
a space hog?
 
If you mean "reads" as space free on the hard drive, it's very possible. If
you mean drive overall capacity, then your partition table isn't using the
entire drive. Larger hard drives are exceedingly cheap, you should invest
in a new/used 20+ GB hard drive.

Had you bothered to read the system requirements, you'd have been able to
answer your own question! XP requires a *MINIMUM* of 1.5GB.
