Hard Drive partitioned into 2 logical drives - How to combine

John

My IBM Thinkpad has one hard drive that is partitioned
into two logical drives (C: and D:) How can I combine
them back to one locical drive(C:) I am always running
low on disk space on the C: drive yet I have only 4% of
the D: drive being used.

You need a third party partitioning program like Partition
magic , partition manager, you can increase the size of
one and shrink the other.

Just to add to what Willit told you - be sure that the second partition
isn't for special IBM recovery disk software before you blow it away.
Read your manual or check with IBM tech support on their website.
